Skin 79 BB Cream Review

So I just received my order of Skin 79 BB Cream and I love it! It came with two samples, the gold sample and the orange sample. The orange is for girls that are lighter complected, and the gold has more moisturizing in it. I personally prefer the pink, it vanished every single one of my pores. It was great under my make up forever foundation! What I do is when I get out of the shower, I put my hair up in a towel and put my bath robe on. I put my Genefique on from Lancome then I apply my BB cream, and let it set while I get dressed and blow dry my hair. This gives it time to oxidize which it needs to do ladies! Then after that I apply my concealer and foundation as normal :) It makes your skin look so smooth and after you take it off at night your skin feels so soft! I love it! Hands down best BB cream I have ever used! P.S. Yes, it says “whitening” on it – the liquid comes out grayish. Which will diffuse the redness of your skin. There is no bleach in it! I have already had questions on that via facebook and twitter. All it does is even out your skin tone. xoxoxoxo, Kelly

Stipling Brush VS Beauty Blender

I know many swear by the beauty blender, but I prefer a stipling brush, it gives me a more airbrushed effect. Where as the Beauty Blender gives me a more dewy effect. It really is just a matter of opinion of what you prefer! Both are awesome! I would not buy a generic beauty blender or copy! Get the real one! The other ones do not compare! With that said! You can get a dupe or something similar to the MAC stipling brush I know many of you swear by the MAC 813 stipling brush which runs about $42, but I adore the Real Techniques Stipling Brush and Expert face brush!!! The stipling brush is like 9.99 and the Expert Face Brush is 8.99…both sell at Ulta they are just as amazing as the MAC brush and save you $$$$$$!! Let me know what you prefer below and if you have tried these brushes or give me your review if you happen to buy any of the said products above! To get the beauty blender go here http://www.beautyblender.net/ To get the real technique brush go here http://search.ulta.com/search?p=Q&asug=real+&userid=mysecretkelly%40gmail.com&w=real+techniques+brushes Mac 813 Brush http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/146/772/187-Duo-Fibre-Brush/index.tmpl Take comfort in knowing I am not trying to sell or gain from any of the products. I have no affiliation with any of these companies. xoxoxoxo, Kelly

Found my new favorite BB CREAM!

Skin 79 has these awesome BB creams… I personally use the pink, but a lot of girls like the gold. Girls who are really light complected should use the orange. Now I do not use this as a foundation for shoots or when going out on the town. I use it as my primer/moisturizer before I put my foundation on, and it just gives me that perfect finished flawless look. To those that don’t know what BB cream is, it started in Europe Spas and got huge in Asia. It’s like an SPF, Skincare, foundation, primer all in one! It really evens up your skin tone and gets rid of redness and blotchy skin. It definitely helps smooth acne scars too if you have those. There are American Brands, but the only one I have liked so far is the Naked Skin from Urban Decay. That one does tend to go orange, but I only used it under my foundation. Skin79 goes on grey and then after it oxidizes from 5 to 15 minutes it really matches your skin tone and evens everything out! I wouldn’t suggest this to girls who tan a lot! This gives a sheer to medium coverage depending how much you build it up. I would highly recommend this! I use the one in the hot pink tube! Girls if you aren’t sure or skeptical, if you have $5 you can get the sample pack which comes with all their BB creams. But do check them out!! http://www.skin79northamerica.com/

My January Favorites

Hey girls! So every month – I’ll be doing my favorites of things I’ve used that month! Some of these things are in my all time use and others are new! So lets get started! Urban decay Naked Basic Pallettes – I love this palette – It’s got all my fav colors in it! I adore Venus, Naked 2, Faint, and of course black. Totally worth the $27!! These are really good if you can’t afford the Naked Palette or Naked 2 for $50! Girls I am telling you, you will use these everyday! Loreal Double Extend Mascara – Loving this stuff, it has two steps! I top it off with Loreal 3D wear mascara. Makes my lashes so long and thick! Milani Shadow eyes – I got the purple and blue – they are awesome! So much fun to use! The purple really brings out my eyes when I use it as eyeliner. Lancome Genefique – I got this as a tester my last trip to Sephora! This stuff rocks! I put it on at night and my skin is so awesome in the morning! I am definitely buying the full bottle. Something I love about Sephora, the samples you get to try! Laura Mercier Secret Concealer – I love this stuff, but I’ve used it for quite sometime! YSL Lipstick – Pink Lingerie – yes another thing I typically use – but love it! NYX Milk Big Fat Crayon – I just started using NYX and I’m really impressed with the quality. I’m loving it! Nars Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight – Another thing that’s in my typical beauty package, but if you love pink lips, this is a must! Revlon Colorstay Brow Enhancer – This freaking thing is awesome! I love it! I’ve been using it for a few months and it’s probably the best eyebrow pencil I’ve used. Looks so natural and fills in well. Hard Candy Glossaholic in Confection – Omg, this lip gloss is so awesome on top of my pink lingerie lipstick and on top of td by it turkish delight lip gloss. Yes girls I layer all three! It comes out so amazing! It’s also pretty good by it self and tasty! There you have it girls! My January favorites!! Let me know what your favorites were last month! xoxoxoxo, Kelly favorites

Salutations

Salutations! I just had my last two wisdom teeth removed yesterday with Dr. Forfar. He is an awesome oral surgeon. I am not swollen yet, so lets hope it stays that way! After talking to Dr. Forfar, Dr. Cardenas, and Dr. Ousterhout – my anger with my last surgeon Dr. Lesesne grows. All three told me they were shocked he touched my jawline till my wisdom teeth were removed. They even asked did he even inpect your mouth? Dr. Lesesne did and he knew my wisdom teeth were still in there. He asked me even, but never said I would need to remove them first. All three said the jawline changes once the wisdom teeth are removed and they would of done that then relined the jaw. That, Dr. Lesesne should of never touched my jaw till then. Girls you have to be wary of your surgeon that claims to know FFS (facial feminization surgery) you’ll end up spending more money than you need to! Just to have it fixed! A lot of doctors like Dr. Zukowski, Dr. Cardenas, and Dr. Ousterhout will stand by their work and fix it free as long as you pay for the anesthesia and room, but oh no not Dr. Lesesne. After I complained that he barely touched the sides of my jawline, the unevenness in the front, and he needed to pull the skin more tight. His answer back was, I would have to pay for everything again! I have spoken to Dr. Cardenas and Dr. Ousterhout so far, both great doctors. Dr. Cardenas would charge me $11,800 for nose, jaw, forehead III, and eye revision surgery that Dr. Lesesne also messed up on. General Anesthesia, nursing, and operating room. Dr. Ousterhout would charge me $30,000 for jawline, submental scar correction, forehead III, and scalp advancement. General Anesthesia, nursing, and operating room. Both doctors are great doctors, the reason Dr. Cardenas is cheaper is because he is located in Mexico. I haven’t decided which one I want yet. I am going to be researching more Maxillofacial surgeons. Maxillofacial surgeons are the best to go to! Their study of surgery focuses on the face and oral surgery. So girls just be careful when you go to these doctors. Make sure you ask them questions like – Do you stand by your work? Ask them for before and afters! My top three facial surgeons would be Dr. Ousterhout, Dr. Cardenas, and Dr. Zukowski My top breast surgeons would be Dr. Revis or Dr. Gray If you have any questions leave a comment below and I’ll respond!
